Debot The bot is referred to as the 4 axis system which will be used for deburring.
Method of programming The computer screen will give a look and feel of a regular CNC since it uses Mach 3 or EMC2.
Feed rate, G codes and even CAD interface is possible. If a control system is used, the G codes are
visible on a 3 line LCD screen
Boot sequence The computer should first boot and sequentially the machine will turn on. The chiller is externally
connected and runs independently.
Cathode electrode Cathode electrode is the electrode which is used for deburring. Normally Elechem provides these electrodes based on the component that needs deburring. After the first supply of cathode electrodes, the drawings are given and the customer is free to use the drawings for their own spare maintenance.
Cathode electrode Life Cathode electrode is the one which is fixed to the Bot either single axis or 3 axis.In case of a gear,
it would be like a mating part to the gear teeth. Electrolyte flushes in between the part and the cathode during
which deburring takes place. Cathode is not consumed and need not be replaced unless damaged.
Reason for damage could be a short or accidently wear out.
Anode Anode is normally a simple block made out of brass on which the part rests or part is clamped to.
There could be wear out of anode and the expected life of this could be about 20,000 to 100,000 or more.
Method of clamping the part Normally the part is clamped using bolts. This again is custom made for the part and base fixture.
